A few weeks ago I noticed I hadn't been using my laptop very often and had gotten way behind on my Windows updates. Almost a hundred. lol. So when I went to update them it got stuck on #36 and wouldn't move off that. I kept getting the rotating dots too for a long time. I tried to shut down but it wouldn't let me. I left it on all day and when i got back it was finished. I now believe that even though it looked to be stuck on 36 actually it was still downloading but not showing it to me. Maybe that is what is happening to you with this upload. Windows 10 is a huge file. 3GB? You may need to give it more time than you think, esp if over a wireless connection. Just an idea. I don't know, it may not be downloading at all.

I've had the opposite experience. I got the ok for the download for my desktop in a couple of days, but still haven't gotten the ok for the laptop. Maybe they go by ip address. Give you one then have to wait for the other. I'm not in a hurry anyway.
