KINGSTON >> A hemp-infused beverage is available for purchase at the Market Basket on Wall Street and at Beer World on Ulster Avenue, according to a press release.

Win Morrison and Mitch Rapoport, principles of Win Morrison Realty, announced in the press release that they had joined forces with the Epic Group. The Epic Group is a master distributor for Rocky Mountain High, a new, hemp-infused beverage launching across the country and Canada. The parent firm, Totally Hemp Crazy, is a publicly traded company headed up by beverage expert Tom Shuman, formally of Global Brands and Dr. Pepper/Snapple. The company is preparing to assign distributorships around the world and is in the process of reviewing distributor applications from more than a dozen countries, including China.

The drink is infused with hemp seed extract, guarana for energy and ginseng, according to the release. The drink does not contain THC, which is the ingredient that carries the psychotropic effects found in marijuana.

The drink flavors include iced tea, lemonade, an energy flavor and a low-calorie coconut lime. A mango flavor will be released shortly.
