Tom: SEG's 9Gig drive (cost of $600) just won PC Computing's award as one of the best products of the year (for what thats worth to botton line and stock price? the Jan 98 issue). I do know 4 months ago $500 would get you a 4 Gig drive. In last 2 months IBM announced new breakthrough of using a smaller platter with more data. At least initially the new IBM drives will be for IBM products. This will put pressure on the rest of the DD sector (one of the reasons why I like IBM). Tim
