BTW, have you noticed that the management book cycle has changed? It was popular to buy companies to get bigger in the 2000s.... now several of the companies I've made good money on in the past that are or were in the DOW and pay huge dividends are breaking themselves up to be "more focused" on their core business that has growth. C, GE, HPQ and IBM are four at the tip of my tongue that have gotten much smaller via spinoffs and asset sales.
