Hi Tom, I'm also not sure if we've talked before. I do read many of your posts and find them informative and good reading.

One of my problems with the postings on SI is that there are so many of them that I only focus on a few threads and then many times only skim the posts. ( An issue with time constraints) As you can imagine I'll miss items that may be of importance. Sorry if I misstated your position. It was how I remembered it.

I was responding to Ray and giving my read on why Ike was not around. My post was probably more in line as to why he was posting less and the thread had quieted down considerably in the past few weeks.

I was not trying to put you on the defensive with this (although if I go back to reread the post I'm sure thats what I did). I didn't agree with your method (we all have different styles though and we all use what we feel the situation warrants) there were good and bad points brought up during the fracas. I'm sure if you've followed some of my activities (and posts for that matter) there are items you wouldn't agree with as well.

Another problem with postings is that we type and then hit the submit button without being able to really check what we've written. There are plusses and minuses to this. One minus is that we can write something that can be taken more than one way. Thats probably the case here. Its just shows how easy it is to miscommunicate in this environment.

I should write more on this Tom but I have to go. I'm sure this post will read like I'm rambling along anyway. It would be better to speak than write and if you'd like to continue off line send my an e mail with your number and I'll give you a call.
