Buck, you're right. Even if you're an informed investor/trader, your odds are only slightly better trading options than gambling! (sure wish I would have given into my temptations a couple of weeks ago & sold some covered Dec 10 calls + my entire Dec 10 Call position. I would have been able to use the profit to own at least another "free" 1000 shares of IDX!) I broke the successful option trader's Golden Rule: "NEVER trade the current month! & NEVER, NEVER hold out until expiration!!" JL p.s. - OFF TOPIC - Steve & Buck thanks for the semi info. I've been following the 300mm market. If you like botton picking, check out the following 2 co.s: WFR - the only publicly traded co. in the US that is a pure play in the wafer producing business. it's now trading below book value (around $15/shr) FERO - Makes pullers for growing wafers. (World's largest,I think) They recently shipped the first US produced 300m puller FERO is underfollowed & has also been oversold. (around $5/shr)
