Keith: Another masterpiece.
Eloquent, thoughtful and well stated as usual.
The conflict is between good and better, and is simply one of on-going change in a democratic and enlightened society. A society where the equality of man is always protected and enhanced. That really is the ultimate dream, attempted by honest men of good intent, such as is embodied in the Constitution of the U.S.A.
But Keith, the fathers of that document have written and admonished the people to be aware and vigilant of the many forces that are working, not for the people, but for themselves. The threat of domination, is economic and political in nature rather than military. And is ever present. I wish it wasn't so, but history is replete with examples of the rich and powerful having prospered and gained at the expense of the people. There is a new order coming, a new World Order. This includes a new economic order, where a few will own the wealth of the world. But to get to that point, the old order must be destroyed, and I believe we are witnessing the beginning of this process.
I know this sounds whacky to you, but you may recall my previous challenge to you when I entreated you to find the opinion makers and what their objectives might be. I did so because I knew you would eventually land at the doorstep of intrigue, power and money, and these all have real names attached to them. And these people don't care about lunch bucket Joe. You may even stumble onto writings almost 200 years old warning of the new World Order, of conspiracy and secret societies. You don't have to accept all that, but you must be aware of the changes happening now.
The basic goodness of humanity, selflessness, justice and equality; these do not naturally endure, as the selfish, the unjust and the unequal will always dominate. That is why laws are written. But events can occur, setting laws aside, and these things too have happened even in democratic countries.
The questions remain. Where are we headed, who is leading, who is accumulating gold? Will our monetary system survive?
Thanks again for your thoughtful posts.
