I've read back through many of your postings trying to get a feel for your strategy. You really sound like you are on the ball with what HEC can do for you in the market.
Picking my brain might not be too advantageous, but I will be happy to pass on my perspective on HEC if it is wanted.. and maybe if its not wanted too...!!!
Yes, the Seven Seas discovery is very relevent. Hey!!! Theres oil in those rocks in a very similar geologic area not far (but yet too far) from
HEC's prospect. Thats very relevent, and important. Its the first thing we look for in trying to find new reserves, and its nice to have that.
Its a great psychological boost. But it really doesn't mean much more than that. We have a saying here, "Oil is where the 7 7/8 inch bit finds it!" But the bit doesn't go into the ground until you have some reason to drill at that spot. Seven Seas lends credence to HEC's spot. When drilling a wildcat I always have to be able to say, that even if it is a dry hole, the well needed to be drilled. All the information and data we could obtain merited a test well. HEC is sitting on prospects that definately merit these tests.
It's great to have new hard facts supporting your idea just before starting your own project. I sure hope it is meaningful for HEC.
Regards,
Rod C.
