Dale, the words were said, but in a different context, and by an analyst who was not particularly articulate. My first impression was he said that if IOM began selling Zips to OEMs at $50 apiece, (sometime in 1998) then they would be taking a $10-12 loss on them, but make up for it in disk sales. But this person was so nervous that he had made a few egregious errors before that, and I decided I could not be sure he wasn't trying to say something entirely different. I wasn't even sure he really meant Zip and not Sony's HiFud. All in all, I would not worry about it. Trust BO to spin it in the worst possible way. A way I do not think the analyst could possibly have meant. He was talking about the future, not now. Please take the 45 minutes to listen to it, as I don't think the transcripts could do justice to it. I am interested in your interpretation to exactly the same degree I am disinterested in BO's.
