This is the "new normal."

Obama inherited this.

Depressions are not nosebleeds.. they require substantial corrective actions to reverse their damage, else your country and economy fails

..without Obama's leadership in this economic crisis, we would have been toast

..that will undoubtedly be the judgement of history even if it escapes the notice of the current debt scolds

..the trend shows that the worst of the Republican damage has been stanched and we are heading in the right direction

I suppose it's time for another Republican to be elected so we can do it all over again

Bush Depression
The name assigned to the second great economic depression, started in 2008, so as to differentiate it from the one which spanned the late 1920’s to the mid/late 1930’s. This huge economic disaster began during the term of George W. Bush. The roots of the Bush Depression can be traced to the Republican deregulatory, “voo-doo economic” policies initiated under Ronald Reagan, continued by subsequent Republicans, and brought to a head by Bush's twisted regime. This greed-based house of cards finally collapsed, sending the U.S. economy into turmoil.
