If I follow you correctly...you have multiple *identical* systems. On the ones that were upgraded installations there is a problem with the video. On the clean installs there is no problem.

Seems like a version issue....Do both system types have all updates from Microsoft applied? It would appear that the problem lies with Windows 10 and possibly something like the Direct X installation (if they both have the same video driver version installed).

Did you try to revert back to a prior version of the video driver and then let Microsoft update it to the newest "certified" one from Microsoft Updates?
