Different people find different ways to make money in this market. I know people who are wildly successful investing and holding long term and equally i know one guy who daytrades and swing trades exclusively junior resource stocks and he has still managed to make money consistently all the way through the decline in that sector for the past 4 years. I've even been in the same stocks as him and i've lost money and he's made a bunch, it can be annoying! But he does it full-time and has the skill and agility to get in and out very quickly and trades only liquid juniors.
Hopefully when the current downtrend in small caps ends, and it will end at some point, we will all do better in the intermediate term with our favourites, whether we choose to trade them or hold them. have a great weekend all!
