Do you use any proprietary software on your windows system? If not, why wouldn't you try, just try and see, download latest Linux Mint Xfce (17.2) download Iso file, use USB memory stick 8 gb will do) install it on that USB stick, (make it bootable) not that complicated, dont have links handy, then run that Linux Mint from the USB memory stick, no installation required, no changes on your computer! You will run Linux from your memory stick.
Then you can test it and play around and see how you like it. Since you have so much problems with the w10, why not try something else.
Linux Mint don't snoop on you, it is safer, more stable and free. And there are thousand of programs available for you, free and without malware and adds on....
You can use Firefox Mozzila in Linux Mint, and for mail Thunderbird. If you try it, who know, you may really like it.
As of your w10 installation problems, you may have corrupted some of sectors on your HDD? I dont know. |
