Hi Svejk, sorry for being late to this executive's meeting, but I'm sure you understand that my position as a Y2K consultant requires a substantial amount of travel and 'rent-a-cars'.

A funny thing happened to me on my way to this forum (which explains my tardiness). I was attempting to turn in the rental car, and I felt it necessary to explain to the clerk a few problems I had encountered on my way back from one of those Y2K seminar 'after-parties'. I explained to the clerk that the right rear view mirror was broken and the right turn signal was inoperable. The clerk, however, was unsympathetic and simply yelled, "Hey, I'm busy trying to run the rental car company of the future."

Well, I was a bit put-off by his unprofessional behaviour and I further explained that the right door wouldn't open either. He simply shot back, "What's your problem? Are you here to turn in the car or do you just want to be heard on the internet? And why won't the door open anyway?"

So at that point I felt compelled to explain that the rest of the car was laying on it. (After all, it's just a rental.) So that's why I'm late. Sorry to land you with that one, chap. I think that's why I like those FBN blokes so much -- wouldn't catch any of their executives acting like store clerks, now would we?

So whilst we are here, what shall we discuss? It seems that the clever intricacies of AIM are off-limits; same with Veronex' perception of the Y2K 'virus'. (I think they have some antibiotics for that, don't they?). I KNOW! How about the lovely shade of blue in the source frame of their website? I wonder how they picked that. Any ideas on its impact toward future sales of the Veronex software suite?
