Gottfried, On January 19, 1998, California's draconian no-smoking law goes into effect. After that date, there will be no smoking permitted in any "public" building--including bars. Who knows, this new law may preclude smoking on beaches, in parks, and in ships and boats out in the middle of the SF Bay. I wouldn't put it past 'em. I mean, if one were to buy into the rants of anti-smoking brigade, it is obvious that smoking is solely responsible for all the air polution from San Jose to Petaluma! Everybody knows that! It MUST be stamped out. EVERYWHERE! BTW, what's the German word for sarcasm? Holly
