Loretta and all,
Please forgive post 5895, those links are a reference to Sandia National Laboratories. I've been trying to figure what ANADAC, Sandi Lab, and the Navy were doing, and how a "great potential for applications in a variety of solutions" will play out. Personally, (and I'm probly wrong about this), I figure that most of the INS money has been budgeted and not much more will be coming from them. Law Enforcment has a few years left for the live scan market. I feel that ANADEC will provide future growth for IDX. If ANADAC has access to Sandia labs, or the other way around, then ANADAC is well positioned for the future of Imaging Systems, i.e., Airplanes, Ships, Boardrooms, Televisions, MONITORS, Medicine... I think that 3-D is in the cards to be played yet... Just my opinion...
This from ANADAC: anadac.com ANADAC offers a full range of Information Technology Services. From Requirements Analysis and Process Re-engineering through Systems Design and Implementation, ANADAC's skill and experience base helps to ensure successful solutions. We specialize in Information Systems design and development, Systems Integration, and Imaging Systems.
anadac.com In biometric imaging, ANADAC develops and implements biometric imaging systems using the Identix "live-scan" imaging products in applications ranging from fingerprinting to access control. This type of "three-dimensional imaging" is in the early stages of growth, and offers great potential for applications in a variety of solutions.
