I bought some CPLP yesterday (Wed). They're a shipping MLP.

The two stocks you mentioned, they are MLPs or regular C-Corp stocks?

CPLP has seen modestly improving results over the past few quarters, and has committed to increasing the dividend, albeit by only 2-3% per year, for the next few years. Yield (13% or so) seems too high. Analysts make the case that a slow growing MLP should trade at about 8% yield, which would put CPLP at about $12.00 per share.

But I have no way to monitor the container shipping industry. It could go in the tank, and I wouldn't know it until too late. But I've held a bit of CPLP for about 5 years, and they've always paid out 93 cents per year.
