Why has the Fed held interest rates down at the zero bound for 6 years, if things are so great? Why are they now hesitating to raise rates? Why has the Fed continued stealth QE to maintain the $4T+ balance sheet instead of letting it bleed off? Why are all these stimuli necessary if things are so great?
