Why has the Fed held interest rates down at the zero bound for 6 years, if things are so great?

Why not? There is no inflation......in fact, the world is more in danger of deflation and the low interest rates were fueling economic growth. Its a no brainer except in the zero hedge world.

Why are they now hesitating to raise rates? Why has the Fed continued stealth QE to maintain the $4T+ balance sheet instead of letting it bleed off? Why are all these stimuli necessary if things are so great?

Things are much, much better. But like I said up above why slow growth when you don't have to?

You need to meet with Dave.........he can complain about the left's usage of the word, cipher, and you can complain about the Feds not slowing down growth like you think they should. Have fun!
