I've been selling according to plan and am happy that I've been doing so. There have been times when I felt I might have made more if I'd held onto some of the shares that I had sold according to the plan but now have a greater appreciation to why selling some and raising cash is such a good idea.

I still own four stocks and am now looking to replace the other four closed positions with four new ones when new opportunities come up. I'm thinking of taking some of the profits I've made and increasing the size of the next four positions by 25% each.

The only drawback I see in doing so is the initial size of the purchases will now vary. Each of the first four were bought with the same amount of funds and each of the next four will be bought with 25% more funds. I don't think this is that important but does anyone have any thoughts on why the idea might not be a good one?

Thanks
