The facts about the link between contraceptive use and increased abortion rates are there for you to ignore at the peril of your own credibility. Contraception use (along with it's significant failure rates) has resulted in millions of abortions that would not have otherwise happened.

BTW. Killing your own children is not part of the Human Condition. It's not a
Right, it is a despicable and damnable practice that should be illegal.

A better question is why are you using legal weasels and loopholes to permit the killing of innocent Human Beings. What is the ontological difference between a Child who is delivered and the same Child 5 minutes before it has cleared the birth canal of the mother? There is none! That is the reason that so many of your like minded pro abortionist friends like Singer and Dawkins see no difference in moving the bar past the birth of a child and advocate a postnatal period of time where children can be killed.

As for your Russian study it must be noted that Russia has a long history of using abortion as just another form of birth control so for them to switch to other methods is not a significant indication of how the introduction of contraceptives effects abortion rates. The study in Spain that I noted is a better representation of the relation between contraceptive use and increased abortion and that study shows that abortion rates increase dramatically when Contraceptives are introduced to a society. Of course there are always other factors that come into play like the societal attitudes toward casual sex between unmarried men and women that is being pushed right along side contraception, but you are far to unsophisticated to get into those sorts of issues.
