POLL: African Americans Don’t Support ‘Black Lives Matter,’ Prefer to Say ‘ALL Lives Matter’ Instead

..........
The new Rasmussen poll asked blacks if they think “black lives matter” is the right way to phrase their feelings or if they’d rather say “all lives matter.” Well apparently most feel “black lives matter” is way too harsh.

Most Americans, and especially African-Americans, believe that the phrase “all lives matter” is much close to their view than the narrow “black lives matter,” the movement started after a white Ferguson, Mo., cop shot a black man to death, according to a new poll.

A survey from Rasmussen Reports found that blacks, by a margin of two to one, say “all lives matter” is closer to their view. Some 64 percent chose “all lives matter,” to 31 percent for “black lives matter,” said the poll that asked: “Which statement is closest to your own?”

…Overall, when asked which statement is closest to their own views, 78 percent of likely U.S. voters say all lives matter.
