It's both but really it is hypocrisy that is the intolerable one of the two.

Cheating is a form of lying but like most forms of lying the perp justifies it as necessary and in some ways good. They are "in love," or when money is involved they are doing it to provide for loved ones. It doesn't wash but its what people do.

Hypocrisy, on the other hand can never be justified and rides piggy back on the cheater. We know better than to trust some creep and are not surprised when they cheat. But everyone is angered by someone who lectures or preaches then gets exposed for cheating.

Of course some of the people here are just piling on for the fun of it, which is also disgusting, especially considering who is doing it. Talk about hypocrites.
