The wingers are sounding particularly deranged with hatred today, no? :)
Well, they have some reason to be. First 2016 was supposed to be their year.........all their good candidates would come out and play now that that pesky, too popular Obama isn't running. And to some degree this is a better class of candidates.......at least they can walk and talk at the same time. But sadly most still have that winger affliction.......there is no there there and they're mostly boring. So along comes that bombastic of an idjit, DT and steals the show.......and is the most popular. The rest of the candidates are confused, lost and don't know what to do or how to behave.
And then there is the Iran deal. The Rs thought they could kill this one.......and so did their fans. So they went about telling their half trues like they usually do and its not working. These days only their fans believe the lies spun by the R pols.......so the whole Iran attack is falling apart.
And don't get me started on the economy. We have the best economy in the entire world right now.........and Obama, a Dem, is at the head of the parade. Its true that a president can't turn an economy all on his own but Obama is getting a lot of the credit for a number reasons.
ISIS is bad but even they can be traced back to Bush, and Bush and the Rs are getting most of the blame. In the meantime, there are much fewer American military casualties than during the Bush years. And that makes Americans very happy.
Obamacare is working, GM is booming, the unemployment rate is dropping, there is little inflation.....talk about trying to intentionally piss off Rs. Meanwhile, Obama has stopped trying to play nice nice with Rs which Rs said would lead to his political death..........and he's more popular than ever.
So if Rs seem a little grumpy, I guess we need to give them a little slack. ;)
Their prospects are pretty awful, I think progressives tend toward hope when things are bad. The right wingers tend towards crazy conspiratorialist insanity.
Rs are lazy thinkers. They naturally gravitate to conspiracy thinking.......its so much easier than real work. |
