after a silly post of yours about blanket deaths......

Nope... banning blankets after a mom had used blankets to kill her kids was a sarcastic quip pointed at you after all your gun banning rhetoric. I'm sorry if you missed that, however, your position on guns might have some credibility if the principle you base it on were applied even handedly across all societal practices and customs that contribute to harmful outcomes. That is the point of this strand of conversation. You are unwilling to consider that because you know the first thing you would have to do is place gun control way down on the list or if you were to consider all factors fairly, remove it completely.

"So guns are a contributing factor to death in this country, so are cars, so is alcohol. That crosses a line at the point where human ignominies underly the event. Considering the impact of each, alcohol is far and away the biggest, the overwhelming winner, bar none, in its ability to contribute to such crime, injury, other types of harm, and death in this country. Yet here you are proclaiming it doesn't matter."
