Marc,

As you say, I wasn't being accurate, since I haven't taken the gains or losses in my current portfolio -- by definition the current portfolio hasn't been sold. I am having a little trouble following you. Are you suggesting to take the BMY gain now? When you say to play the upside immediately, using derivatives and less capital, I don't know what that is.

I actually sold 2/3 of my position in HEB as of this point, and at a profit, but I don't need losses to cover that profit, so wouldn't sell the rest of the position without some other reason. I do have to liquidate something or some things, and am not sure if the remainder of the HEB position should be sold. If it'll be back into profit territory in a month or two I should sell something else that might not be. Of course, who really knows? It seemed like HEB was going to be making a move up a few times and it didn't.

Linda
