Perfect analogy.

When crime increased in the D.C. area------neighbors began to form Neighborhood Watch programs and build their communities to combat the rapists and the burglars and the drug dealers.

I had a Captain of the Police Force to advise on how to make our home more secure.

And, was advised to take shooting lessons. I did.

I was also advised that if it was necessary to shoot someone , be sure to pull him into the hallway, over the threshold. Then call the police.
