I'm sorry, I thought you said he was 40. I didn't know your friend was aged 160.

What I said is that he's nearly 40 and he had never seen smoke coming into Seattle from wild fires nor a wild fire within the city limits. Reading comprehension apparently is not your strong suit and might explain your confusion on a number of issues.

You realize that the MWP lasted 600 years and was warmer than today. Yet, ALL of it amounts to less than 1C (~2F). And of course, they didn't even have measurement equipment then.


The trends aren't about 40 years. They're about 100s of years. If we are in a warming trend, and no one really knows for sure that we are, we have no idea how long that trend will last. It will certainly outlast the need for fossil fuels.

And you don't care that we might be able to keep it from getting much worse. Not a good look, Dave.

Get over it. Thoughtful people already have.
