Earlier this year, Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) was stripped of his subcommittee chairmanship as punishment for voting to stop the bill giving President Obama fast-track trade authority.

Meadows fought back and won! His chairmanship was reinstated and House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) was dealt a major defeat.

But that's not the end of the story.

Congressman Meadows has expanded his efforts to change Washington. Rather than accepting the status quo, Meadows is leading the fight in the House to replace Speaker Boehner so your voice is heard.

In fact, Meadows filed a motion to "vacate the chair" prior to Congress leaving town for its August break, and many Americans are asking their representatives where they stand on this question. Do they believe it's time for a new Speaker OR do they support John Boehner? It's a simple question.

If this motion comes up for a vote later this year and a majority of the House votes against Boehner, he will be removed as Speaker and Republicans will be able to pick someone else to lead the House.

According to the recent Gallup poll, that is exactly what Americans want. Only 23% of Americans view Speaker Boehner favorably compared to a whopping 54% who view him unfavorably.

It's time for Republicans to have leadership that will fight for their principles and won't preemptively surrender to the president.

SUPPORT MARK MEADOWS

Because Congressman Meadows is doing so much to lead the fight for real change in Congress and because he is now an even bigger target of the GOP establishment in DC, we are going to continue to raise money for him.

This is important because the Republican establishment is actively working to defeat Congressman Meadows by cutting off his fundraising in the business community and trying to use redistricting in North Carolina to get rid of him.

Please join us in supporting this principled and courageous leader by making a contribution to his campaign.

If everyone pitches in something – even just $10 – we can help ensure that he is re-elected to the House and continues to fight for our values.

We all want principled leaders in Congress and now we have one who is doing what he said he would do. We must support him.

Please forward this email and share it on Facebook and Twitter to encourage others to support him at GoFundMeadows.com.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently said it was planning to target conservative incumbents like Mark Meadows who make it difficult for them to pass their big-government agenda. This makes it all the more important for the grassroots to support this principled leader now.

Thank you for being willing to stand up to the liberals in both parties. Millions of Republican voters are beginning to see that their party's leaders in Washington are part of the problem.

Make no mistake. You are not alone.

We can win this fight and save this great country if we stay engaged and keep doing everything we can to expose the politicians who betray us and replace them with courageous conservatives.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Ken Cuccinelli II
