I really don't think the tax cuts meant much to anyone that wasn't already wealthy. They meant very little to me other than being TICKED that a guy that had run complaining about DEFICITS seemed intent on making them LARGER. And that's what he DID.

Moron George did the SAME thing with his ridiculous tax cuts shortly after he got into office.

Kennedy was a BIG factor in getting liberals to stay home on election day in 1980. He was a typical narcissistic bastard.

If Kennedy had backed Carter rather than treating him with disdain the election would have been much closer, although Carter was such a horrible politician I don't know if he could have won.

Also, the Military Industrial Complex DID NOT want Carter to serve another term.

They wanted to sell bolts for $1000 and toilet seats for $10,000 and Reagan was the guy that could make that happen and he DID!!!!
