To tell you the truth, I don't care what any analyst does or say about any stock I ever own in the future. What I've found out is that at any given moment, it's impossible to agree about practically anything. Also if 5 analysts come out with a downgrade, 5 more can easily disagree, while 5 more can partially agree and partially disagree. No big deal to me at this point, I'm building immunity to those sorts of things.
Regarding Dorfman I heard he's under some investigation from the Money something or other magazine (after which time he was released) or investment newsletter but I don't know any of the details. If you have background, share these things as they are sort of interesting to see or read about. After all, we're all in the market and want to know how this thing works or what is not supposed to be done, etc.. The whole idea of insider trading is pretty interesting to me, especially the part about what constitutes insider trading activity or if there are any conflict of interest axioms that must be heeded in the securities market. See I'm a newbie to all of this and everyday I learn tons from all you guys.
Also regarding either Vinnick or Whittington, I seem to recall a day when CNBC said there's a rumour going around on Wall Street that one of them was being investigated and man that day sure was a scary looking day. Your eyes just kind of get glued to the screen the whole day, like you're watching some movie that came direct from a suspense novel that hit the NY Times bestseller list and stayed there for a really long time. Everyone telling each other, you have to read this. |
