The problem with this deal is that it may put the 'powers that be' in jeopardy and the people that will suffer if it results in a crackdown will be people like those in that video. The military in Iran likes things the way they are and they aren't going to give up power easily. The religious conservatives that run things along with the military aren't going to along easily either. This won't be like Russia where you had an "enlightened" guy like Gorbachev that could change everything.
