[Ariel and TI]
Scope --
You're right about the development and licensing agreement between Ariel and TI. In reading Ariel's press releases, I see they're moving out of DSP boards. I know they're also dropping their ADSL modems. Can you tell me what products Ariel is licensing to TI? The press release doesn't say.

Anthony M. Agnello, Chairman and CEO of Ariel said, "1997 third quarter revenues decreased by $715,524, year to year, as Ariel transitioned from our DSP board business to the modem board business. Yet, third quarter revenues increased 20% over the second quarter of 1997." He also stated gross profit margin was 46% for the third quarter of 1997 compared to 50% for the third quarter of 1996, but that the third quarter gross margin represented an increase of 7% from the 39% gross margin achieved in the second quarter of 1997.
The improvement in gross margin is the result of lower modem chip set costs in product shipped during the third quarter of 1997.>>>
