Over the weekend, we'll get to see where the dust has settled in the short run. Very solid bounce off the spiked lows and a steady bid after each new attempt to make another low. The higher lows seen so far this week are encouraging for the bullish case, as is a lot of the economic data here in the US.

The strength in OIL is very helpful, as you pointed out. I have to admit even a few days ago I was very concerned about OIL continuing to fall. The pop was spectacular. I don't think it's "ironic" that the reversal coincides with the SLB/CAM announcement!!
