What that question tells us is that populism is ascendant. Which is what I have been saying.

So you are wrong yet again. I do understand what is happening.

If Trump fails, it will leave Carson and Fiorina standing.

Dunno if Trump will fall. He appeals to the fascist instincts in too many people. And they are willing to overlook anything he says or does. Traditional politics don't apply to him. But he can't win in the general election. Not enough people with fascist tendencies.

Carly and Carson. Both are cyphers and not many people know anything about them. Carson says crazy things. People don't like that. And the more people get to know Carly, the less they like her. She was pretty unknown in California before she ran for the state senate. She is better known and hated there now.

Her "demon sheep" ad illustrates perfectly why she generates ire. Comparing your opponent to something demonic in sheep's clothing is over the top, even for state-wide elections. Comparing voters to sheep was just a flatout dumb and condescending thing to do. She got a reputation at HP of being haughty and imperious. That comes through in that ad, too.

The first words coming into people's heads when Hillary Clinton is mentioned, in descending order of number of responses:

The "so on" includes murder. Which goes to show you how well the wing nut slime machine has hit her. That may or not change as time goes on. Hillary's biggest problem right now is she is not quick on her feet. Few, if any, of the things she thought was going to be important in this election have proven to be true. Bernie has forced her to consider populist-progressive issues and she still is trying to adapt. The whole anti-immigrant/anchor baby diarrhea fountain on the Republican side has opened huge opportunities that she hasn't adapted to. Because she generally is well liked in the black community, the #blacklivesmatter thing has passed her by, but she also hasn't really done anything to harness them to her side.

And so on. She just doesn't adapt well.
