Having a viable brain temporarily asleep is different than something that HAS NO BRAIN.

But your point deserves scrutiny.

However, in terms of human rights they are not the same. Because one is an individual and one is the biological property and organic attachment of the mother. The mother (who has absolute autonomy over her body) also affects her body simply by exercising her rights...such as jumping off a bridge.

Having said that, let us correct some false statements you made. Nobody supports aborting a late-term fetus. These are heartbreaking decisions made when a fetus is discovered to be horribly deformed or dying. Otherwise, unwanted pregnancies are terminated when there is no consciousness, awareness, or interest on the part of the fetal tissue--when the fetal tissue is almost invisible to the human eye.

Nobody supports abortion. Decent people support the Right of women to an abortion...but they all encourage contraception as a way to avoid unwanted pregnancies.

Abortions can be very traumatic. Nobody wants such harm to the mother and families. That is why Sanger said to use contraception. She has saved TRILLIONS of mothers from abortions! Gotta love her!

And you gotta love Planned Parenthood for all the wonderful work they do.
