Hank old boy, I believe your statement is not factually correct. Additionally, since Dell has dramatically outperformed the market over at least the past two years and will continue to grow at 3x the PC industry growth rate, it will continue to outperform the market. I know there will be volatility related to the overall market conditions and the "Lemming Factor" (where all the Lemmings follow each other into the ocean to drown), but when the smoke clears smart investors will realize that Dell is trading at a significant discount to future earnings and will continue to outperform the market. It currently trades at 22.5 x next years earnings ($3.46). If it only grows at half the last 5 yrs growth rate of 62% in the future, that would give it a PEG ratio of .72 vs. 1.48 for the Dow. Seems like a good value play to me. Add to this the fact that Dell's workstation business ( which is primarily a direct business) hasn't fully kicked in yet. I welcome any fundamental analysis to the contrary.

:o)
