The announced timeline for Relincho is 12 -18 months for the PFS and then an FS. So that's 2-3 years for the studies and then a year or more to submit and get regulatory permits. Here's the latest project pipeline for Teck:

Relincho now has a path to get to the pre-sanction stage where QB2 sits. We need to hear this year if Teck will announce a similar path for SC. I've never seen anything publicly released that the optimization studies will result in a technical resource update, which is essential before any project development such as permit applications can proceed. I still think Teck needs to have another option on their plate since all of their eggs sit in a Chilean basket. There are two risks right now in Chile, labour and permitting issues. Teck is in no hurry to decide as these issues may resolve themselves and copper prices may recover over the next 2 years. We don't have the luxury of waiting two years since there's little money left in the till.
