I guess this Asian thing has been going on for long enough, by now i would think everybody 'kinda' knows this is going to have an effect on the U.S economy (currently estimated at .5%-1% of GDP)and the world. So my contention is that at some time point U.S market will have to decouple from the Asian markets. It is about time U.S markets take the leadership position instead of following Asian markets. Come on, it is them who is going bear the brunt of the problem, 'cus as far as I know our economy is in terrific shape.
