As I understand LastPass, with data stored at their end, not on my device, seems would be most secure. If anything catastrophic happens to my device it seems like all would be lost. On their device I'd think that is considerably less likely to happen plus with the encryption, even LastPass can't see your stuff.

I'm about to go with LastPass. Something I haven't figured out yet is whether I'll need to do a separate download for each of my 3 devices. I see the word "OR" used in their literature, suggesting that one download will work on one desktop OR one laptop OR one iPhone. It looks like I may need the Premium to sync all 3 so a change on one would take care of the other two. The cost isn't a particular factor for me. I just need to learn what it is that I really need.
