You are alone in your view that Iran's Supreme Leader is a powerless figurehead. I've posted info disproving your view, someone else posted similar info from PBS. You're just wrong, willfully so. The Supreme Leader is firmly in control there and he's just as ideological as the Supreme Leader he replaced, Khomeini. Khameini, Kohmeini - no difference.
