This is so typical of leftwingers. An abject lack of understanding of science. There is no evidence presented in that article. No one could shred it better than the first first comment on the piece did:

So when you actually read the article then you find out there is no real convincing evidence at all, just a bunch of baseless jumping to conclusions and wild assumptions:

"The only common characteristic shared by all 818 men was being gay."

"Knowing this, the researchers theorized that any single nucleotide
polymorphisms (SNPs) consistently found among these men would have
something to do with sexual orientation."


And then there is this bit:

"Now the same team is working to compare these gene variants to
heterosexual males, expecting that it will not be a common find among
"straight" men."


So they didn't even finish their study and yet the article title claims being gay is genetically linked with such authority.

This is the kind of unfortunate ignorance of science and the scientific method that plagues scientific topics today like climate change and this one as well. The ignorance impedes progress.
