The funny thing about the use of censorship on a web site that depends on discussion for its very existence is that censorship stifles discussion. There were 1255 posts on the New Feature discussion thread to this date in 2014. Contrast that with only 482 posts year to date. I'm sure banning six posters seemed like a small matter and an expedient solution to Dmitry's embarrassment when his "enhancements" were criticized. If he doesn't know by now that he made a major boo boo, he is the only one. Advertisers aren't going to continue throwing the same money at a "talk" site that grows more and more silent.
