GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1997--ZMAX Corp. (OTCBB: ZMAX) announced Monday that it has entered into an exclusive contract with P.O.V. Information Technology BVBA, a Belgian software firm.
ZMAX will provide P.O.V.'s Year 2000 analysis and conversion software and services to clients whose computer systems have an IDEAL/DATACOM operating environment.
P.O.V. Information Technology provides software support services to a substantial number of IDEAL/DATACOM users throughout Europe and has developed a Year 2000 analysis and conversion tool suite, POV 2000, specifically for this operating environment.
This tool suite has been successful in all phases of Year 2000 analysis, conversion, test, integration, and implementation. ZMAX will have exclusive rights to provide P.O.V.'s tool suite and services to IDEAL/DATACOM users throughout North America.

The windows based VISION 2000(SM) software has demonstrated high accuracy in identifying the lines of code directly or indirectly impacted by date change.
After identification of the changes required, a suite of state of the art automated conversion and test tools, including global updates and a sophisticated "security lockout" feature assures comprehensive change without modifying non-date-related fields and statements.
