Here is just a clue. An increase in buggery is not a sign of moral or intellectual advancement. It is, however, a sign of moral and intellectual decay. It is a sign of man degenerating and becoming more like an animal. It has throughout human history accompanied the total collapse of empires, cultures and social order.

You need to spend some time studying history if you expect to learn anything from it. It is the fool's ignorance that makes modern man think he is so enlightened that he can escape the inevitable.
The Romans and Greeks thought themselves so sophisticated and enlightened that their buggery was just evidence of their advancement.
