It is beyond 'may' at this point. There is one locus on the X chromosome and one on another, chromosome 8. Both have been implicated in other papers. This one was published in May.

And yeah, it is crazy to say it is a choice. Maybe for someone who is bisexual, but not for someone who identifies as straight. No study of any credibility has come to that conclusion.

Now granted, under certain circumstances an otherwise straight person may engage in homosexual activities. But they quickly drop that when women become available again.
