post-gazette.com Alcoa is investing $60 million at its Westmoreland County technical center to expand its 3-D printing capabilities. The aluminum and titanium producer said the new facility will focus on developing metal powders to use in 3-D printing, as well as advancing the printing process and product design. The initiative will target the aerospace market, plus customers in the automotive, medical and building and construction markets.
