Thanks for your response. How can the perception of the non disclosure of material information be maintained if company officials participate in BB? Most BB have a private messaging system allowing one on one discussion. Section 6.12 gives a reason for company officials to not participate in BB. It says This will help to protect your company from the liability that could arise from the well-intentioned, but sporadic, efforts of employees to correct rumours or defend the company. What safe guards do you think should be in place to prevent the perception of company officials disclosing information?
