I keep Samsung magician running all the time on my Windows 7 machine. I don't think it actually does a lot except monitor the state of the SSD and allow you to run statistical programs on it and you feel like it. It seems like a rather innocuous piece of software that has its usefulness. Since I don't have an SSD on my experimental Windows 10 laptop I have no comment. Since I now have a spare 250 GB SSD after upgrading my W7 machine to the Samsung EVO 500 GB I think I will do the upgrade sometime in the next few months. However as I mentioned previously, Mine and a friend's experience with the Samsung transfer software suggest it is not functional and useless.
