To: All AMTX's fans,
Last month, Oppenheimer & Co. analyst Randall Yuen said rumors circulated at the beginning of this week that Motorola Inc. (MOT), Smith Micro's second largest customer, might pull out of the modem market.
Rumors continued lately, said that MOT might DISCONTINUE the development of ADSL chipset which is the future of Amati Communication(AMTX) to compete in ADSL market.
Instead of continuing the chipset, MOT is working on a special software for ISDN/ADSL/Cable modems.
Again, strictly rumors.
